About Diffchecker.net
Diffchecker.net is a free online tool for comparing two versions of text, code or configuration files. It highlights every added, removed and changed line so you can review edits in seconds.
Private by design
The comparison runs entirely in your browser. Your text is not uploaded to a server, so you can compare contracts, source code, logs and other sensitive content without sharing it. One recent session can be kept in your browser so you can restore it after a reload, and you can clear it at any time.
What you can do
Paste text or upload files, switch between split and unified views, hide unchanged lines and jump between differences. Dedicated pages add syntax highlighting for 22 programming and markup languages, and results can be exported to PDF or Excel. The site is available in 11 languages.
